Privacy policy

§1. General provisions

1. The data controller is BitApp Michał Kurcewicz, registered in Poznań 60-175, Gerberowa 41, VAT ID 7792282241, REGON 363080644. Data protection follows the requirements of generally applicable law, and the data is stored on secured servers.
2. Terms are interpreted using the glossary in the Terms of Service, or as described in this Privacy Policy where that follows directly from the description.
3. To make this Privacy Policy easier to read, the term “User” has been replaced with “you”, and “Controller” with “we”. “GDPR” means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
4. We respect the right to privacy and we take care of data security. Among other things, we use a secure communication encryption protocol (SSL).
5. Personal data given in the contact form is treated as confidential and is not visible to unauthorised persons.

§2. Data controller

1. The service provider is the controller of its clients’ data. This means that if you hold an Account on our site, we process data such as: first name, surname, email address, phone number, job title, place of work, IP address.
2. Personal data is processed:
   1. in line with the rules on personal data protection,
   2. in line with the implemented Privacy Policy,
   3. to the extent and for the purpose needed to establish, shape the content of, change or terminate the Contract, and to properly deliver Services provided electronically,
3. Every data subject (where we are the controller) has the right to access their data, to rectify it, to erase it or restrict its processing, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
4. You can contact the person supervising personal data processing at the service provider by email at info@bitapp.pl.
5. We reserve the right to process your data after the Contract ends or consent is withdrawn, only to the extent needed to pursue possible claims before a court, or where national, EU or international law obliges us to retain the data.
6. The service provider may share the User’s personal data and other data with entities authorised under the relevant provisions of law (for example law enforcement).
7. Personal data may be erased following withdrawal of consent or a legally admissible objection to the processing of personal data.
8. The service provider does not share personal data with entities other than those authorised under the relevant provisions of law.
9. We have implemented pseudonymisation, data encryption and access control, which minimises the effects of any data security breach.
10. Personal data is processed only by people we have authorised, or by processors we work closely with.

§3. Cookies and analytics

1. The site uses Google Analytics 4, a tool of Google Ireland Limited, measurement ID G-TC7C7WQ4JP. I use it to know how many people visit the site and which pages they read.
2. Google Analytics stores cookies on your device, including _ga and _ga_ followed by the measurement ID. They make it possible to tell that repeat views come from the same browser.
3. The Google Analytics script does not run until you give consent. Until then no analytics cookie is created and no data reaches Google.
4. You can withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookies” link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
5. The basis for processing is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, together with the electronic communications rules on access to information stored on terminal equipment.
6. Your choice is stored in the browser’s local storage under the key bitapp-consent. It is not a cookie and it is not sent to any server.
7. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the terms of its own privacy policy.
8. Apart from analytics, the site does not use cookies.
